Welcome, incoming students and visitors!
UCSD AD Username, Email & Passwords
You have been assigned a UCSD Active Directory (AD) username, which you will use to sign into UC San Diego applications, including your email.
Example:
AD Username: bluefin
Email Address: bluefin@ucsd.edu
To set your AD password, visit: https://password.ucsd.edu
During this process, you will also be prompted to set up Duo two-step authentication using either your mobile device or a Duo token provided by the campus.
To access your UCSD email, go to: https://gmail.ucsd.edu
Wi-Fi Internet Access
UC San Diego offers several wireless networks across campus. USMEX students and visitors are encouraged to connect to one of the following:
eduroam β Recommended. Use your UCSD email address and password to connect.
UCSD-GUEST β Open network that requires no login.
β οΈ We do not recommend connecting to UCSD-PROTECTED at this time.
